BUILD A THRIVING PRACTICE

Griffin found his first passion for soccer, graduating college at the age of 20 in order to transfer and enroll in Drexel University's Master of Science in Psychology program. He pursued research into high performance while playing for the varsity soccer team, eventually becoming captain in his final year and preparing for the move to the pros. In his classes, he found a great joy for clinical work and studied Carl Rogers.

While in graduate school, Griffin started an ecommerce business, learning advanced digital marketing and website design. He ran it until mid 2019 when he met Winden Rowe on a southwest flight and decided to focus on Build Your Practice.

After graduation in early 2020, Griffin attended a number of trials with professional soccer teams, but stopped after making the decision to commit himself full time to entrepreneurship. He now works full-time on Build Your Practice, specializing in business training, website design, and digital marketing.

Winden Rowe came into her BYP role several years ago after sitting next to Griffin in a flight out to Denver. Winden has a passion for several things - one, traumatic stress and the field of mental health, two, talking to complete strangers pretty much anywhere she goes, and three, globetrotting. So the concoction of all three and poor Griffin being an innocent passerby somehow quickly became Build Your Practice.

But in all seriousness, this is all actually true. In her decade long role of being a trauma therapist, a group practice owner, and someone who is deeply connected to population health and the nervous system, Winden became aware very quickly at just how (to quote her) devastatingly broken the field is, and despite endless rhetoric surrounding burnout prevention and self-care, provider health and provider dignity seems to continue to come last; along with provider pay. Although Winden knows that BYP is not the endgame in what the field needs when it comes to systems' change, this is a fantastic solution for providers who want to get out of survival mode and instead thrive in the field we all come to with so much hope and passion.

When she isn't working, she is (as noted above) globetrotting, or spending time with her most favorite animals, and sometimes people.

Also known as The Swede, Linda brings a bit of Viking energy to the team. She joined BYP after 16 years in marketing and project management in the UK, Sweden, Eastern Europe, and most recently at Chase Bank in the US. She has tons of experience working with people on all organizational levels from different cultures and backgrounds.

Ever since childhood, she’s had an interest in psychology and personal growth, which is why at 16, she wrote an essay on Daniel Goleman’s “Emotional Intelligence” and eventually got herself into coaching. Linda loves to help people bring out their strengths and is a no-bs communicator and a strong public speaker with deep intuition and strategic mind.

Amy is a veteran of running operations for organizations. She spent ten years working in chiropractic healthcare, where she managed the admin and logistics of patients and staff. BYPs cofounder Winden recognized her organizational talents and recruited her into an administrative role for Winden’s group practice and eventually brought her into BYP. Amy is now our Head of Systems and is the problem solver and process wizard that every business needs. She’s a crossfitting yogi, spreadsheet fanatic, and dog mom. She lives outside Philadelphia in the same countryside town she grew up in, in the house next door actually (how weird is that)!

Gary comes from a diverse background of music production, fine dining, and event management. Obsessed with personal and professional growth, he set out to learn anything and everything about building a business and furthering his career. After trying to launch several projects while working a high-pressure sales job, he reached burnout and found himself hitting the reset button.

Passionate about entrepreneurship and mental health, he now enjoys helping others “reverse engineer” their dream life by building an authentic lifestyle business, prioritizing physical health, and developing financial literacy. He attributes a great deal of his success to having an incredible family and finding a high-quality therapist in early adulthood. Outside of consulting and his position with BYP, Gary is most likely surfing, golfing, or playing pickup basketball.
